The absence of the "car insurance crisis" explained.
Why Is There No Car Insurance Crisis?

Well, I found it entertaining. :)

I spent a day thinking about it. The North American Continent is at a very severe lack of mechanics. Younger generations are doing things like accounting, legal, computer stuff, doctoring... not very many people are doing mechanical work.

It's very possible that a car insurance plan that covered 80% of all vehicle repairs and maintenance would cause such a huge surge in business that prices _would_ have to go up, to keep the influx quelled.

The nice part of his scenario that he didn't mention is that since there is a shortage of mechanics, in order for one business to expand to meet the demands of the customers, they would have to pay significantly higher wages to attract mechanics from their current jobs.

Hm.

Yes, we need this crisis to occur :) Haha. No, we need the health care crisis to be fixed. No, I don't give a crap about poor people ;)
